This annual community wide celebration features fun for the whole family, including: Carnival Games, Bounce Houses, Pony Rides, Musical Cakes, a Talent Show, Raffles, a Silent Auction and much more!

What is Ranch Round Up?

Ranch Round Up (RRU) is a community-wide celebration and carnival that has been a Jerabek tradition for the last 45 years. It features carnival games, pony rides, mini petting zoo, inflatables, and a student talent show, as well as a musical cakes competition, a silent auction for baskets donated by each classroom, and raffles for dates with your favorite teachers and other prizes. Food is also sold at the event, we will have Everbowl and Yogurt Heaven in addition to our grill station!

Unlimited use of bounce houses, slides, and obstacle courses. Adults do not need a wristband unless they want to use the inflatables.

You can use tickets for carnival games, pony rides/brushing ponies, mini goat petting zoo, face painting, hoops truck, and participating in musical cakes. Tickets can also be used for BBQ.

Our amazing volunteers have obtained donations consisting of local restaurant gift cards, museum tickets, theme park passes, and much much more! You can buy opportunity box tickets and enter to win one of these prizes.

Buy a teacher date ticket and enter to win a raffle to win a special lunch date with your favorite Jerabek teacher! All teacher dates will take place on campus. Winners will have lunch (provided by teachers) and do other fun activities with their favorite teacher. Winners (one per classroom) will be announced the next Monday after RRU in the classrooms. 

RRU’s cake contest is an annual tradition. Student cake contest entrants will donate their homemade cakes to the musical cake contest. This year’s theme is: Everything Sports! Cakes for judging need to arrive at school between 8:00-8:30 am on Friday, May 16th. The cakes will be judged by all 5th graders in three categories: best for grade level, most original, and best use of theme. Musical cake contest winners can pick a cake to take home. Flyers will be dropped off in the coming weeks to sign up. Students will showcase their talents before the Ranch Round Up audience throughout the event. Talent show auditions will be held on Thursday May 1st and Fri, May 2nd from 3:15-5:00 pm in B-24. Students can also submit audition tapes in lieu of an in person audition to Brittany Fuller at jerabektalent@gmail.com by May 2nd.

While RRU is primarily a community celebration, any proceeds go to Jerabek’s Family Faculty Organization (FFO) which supports Jerabek programs, including art programs, the STEAM lab, and the math curriculum.
